Superman Lives: Official Justice League Movie Site Reveals Another ('More Official'?) Team Shot With Superman
Catching up on the day's news after another busy day of C2E2, I signed in on the JoinTheLeague promotional site because my colleague Jude Terror said they were letting anybody in there, and he was right. Took a glance at #jointheleague on twitter too, and noticed with interest that there was an image of Superman out there with the hashtag on it… apparently a promotion coming from @RubiesCostumeCo, and as such — while certainly an eyebrow-raiser given the givens about Supe's status — it's been largely waved off on twitter as something coming from a merchandise campaign rather than film marketing itself.
But… wait a minute. The actual www.justiceleaguethemovie.com site also has the different pic shown below, which is linked to as a "First Look" from the JoinTheLeague site. I can only presume this is a very recent addition, or it'd be all over social by now. More official? Maybe, though it's hard not to notice that it's the same photoshopped-in image that appears on the Rubies Costume Co version. That could imply a bunch of things (or nothing at all), and while it might still be a leap to presume that Superman plays a significant role in this film, I do think it's safer than ever to believe that Superman lives.
