'Bachelor In Paradise' Resumes Production…Without Olympios, Jackson?

'Bachelor In Paradise' Resumes Production...Without Olympios, Jackson?

Having concluded through their own internal investigation that no wrong doing had occurred, Warner Bros. has ordered production on Bachelor in Paradise to resume. Both Warner Bros. and ABC are still faced with two huge hurdles to overcome: the significant effect the shutdown will have on when the new season premieres; and although Variety is reporting that neither Corinne Olympios nor Demario Jackson will be returning, both have referenced taking some type of legal action through their respective attorneys.

Filming on the fourth season could begin soon, possibly by the end of this week, but sources close to the production are saying that Bachelor in Paradise will not be ready in time for its announced August 8 premiere. Production was halted on June 6 and fully shut down five days later, on June 11. Since the majority of the cast was sent home from the show's Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, location after production was shut down, some time will be needed to get them back to Mexico to shoot a number of additional episodes.

'Bachelor In Paradise' Resumes Production...Without Olympios, Jackson?

It doesn't seem that Olympios and Jackson, the two cast members involved in the incident that brought production to a halt, will be back, however. After Warner Bros. completed their investigation, they released the following yesterday:

"Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident. We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy. Production on this season of 'Bachelor in Paradise' will be resuming, and we plan to implement certain changes to the show's policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants."

Olympios released a statement later that day through her legal team announcing that they would still be continuing their investigation of the incident:

"It needs to be made crystal clear that production of "Bachelor in Paradise" was shut down because of multiple complaints received from "BIP" producers and crew members on the set. It was not shut down due to any complaint filed by Corinne against anyone. It comes as no surprise that Warner Bros., as a result of its own internal investigation, would state that no wrongdoing had occurred. Our own investigation will continue based on multiple new witnesses coming forward revealing what they saw and heard."
