Justice League: Ezra Miller Wants The Injustice League And Gal Gadot Wants Cheetah In The Sequel
You can't have a movie without the sequel coming right away. We already know there is going to be a Justice League 2, but there is very little information about the movie. During an interview with Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller with the Toronto Sun, they talk about the possible sequel plans and who would they would like to see appear next.
There were a lot of really fun moments for Gadot and Miller, but they both said the times when they were all together were the best. Gadot said:
"The first time all of us came to the set together, dressed as the characters. It was so surreal and I just remember standing in a corner and watching everyone and I started to laugh out loud because it was just so unbelievable."
Miller agreed:
"The scenes where we're all in it together really stand out, especially the ones where stunts were involved. There's one fight scene that happens in the middle of the movie that I think fans are going to love. I also suggest that they stay for the credits."
Justice League 2 is probably going to happen someday, and Miller wants to see a heroes team versus a villains team:
"The Injustice League. I think I can speak for everyone in the League when I say that we're extremely excited by the prospect of continuing this journey. We don't really know for sure, and we're usually the last people to find out, but … each of the heroes in this movie has specific nemeses, and I think seeing some incarnation of the Injustice League (which includes Lex Luthor, Joker, Deathstroke and more) would be something that DC fans would be pretty stoked about."
Gadot, on the other hand, wants a female villain to go up against, and she has a specific one in mind:
"There's so many good villains in the DC universe, but I would love to fight Cheetah. She's a girl and that could be very interesting."
When asked about why DC fans should be excited about future movies, Miller says it's the fact that the movie are (finally) going to change in tone:
"What's super dope with DC right now is how its movies have played with very different tones. Obviously, there's been commentary and thought about DC movies going forward. But what I think is really amazing is the variety that's at play and how DC is really aiming to provide a wide spectrum of movies and to use these characters to tell a lot of different stories in a lot of different ways. There will be funny movies, frightening movies, deeply serious dramas and then movies like our film, which I think balances those tones in a new, interesting and compelling manner. That diversity in the way these heroes will be featured is really exciting."
Gadot, on the other hand, believes that the new characters being introduced are a good reason to get excited about future movies:
"The DC movies we were exposed to earlier explored Batman and Superman. I think now we're bringing new, exciting characters who are very different from each other and every one of them has a unique flavour and story and background that I think is going to make (the DCEU) very interesting."
If both of those things happen, then the DC Extended Universe might not be in as much trouble as we all thought.
Summary: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
