Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Will Hit PC on January 30th

Fans of the Ys series who have been slowly playing titles that are being re-released on PC are about to get a new addition to their library. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa Of Dana will be coming to Steam on January 30th.

The game was released back in September of 2017 across the PS4 and Vita to mostly positive reviews, but the diehard fanbase has been asking for the game to be ported over to PC for those who don't own either system. The PC version will include a revised localization of the game and fix many of the errors and continuity issues that came with the console release, as well as some revised voice acting to coincide with the changes made to the dialog.

On top of that, just to catch the PC fans up on some of the content they may have missed out on, NIS will be giving away several bits of free DLC between January 30th and February 6th. Among the freebies will be the five-track soundtrack sampler, an Eternian Scholar costume for Laxia, a 32-page mini art book (digital only), and an Adol's Adventure Essentials pack with Adol's Adventurer Clothes, Silver Armor and Survival Kit.
