Arrow Season 6: Stephen Amell Teases Another Character's Return
We started off the day with word that Caity Lotz would becoming back to Arrow for the season finale, reprising her role of Sara Lance. But it seems that she's not the only one heading over to the Arrow set who used to call it home. Stephen Amell posted the below photo to his Twitter account today with the quote: "21 episodes into Season 6 and I still haven't shot a flashback. So this picture… this picture feels really good!"
Colin Donnell returned to the series earlier this season in the Crisis on Earth-X crossover series as he played the Nazi version of Prometheus. Donnell played Tommy Merlyn, Oliver Queen's best friend and romantic interest for Laruel Lance (Katie Cassidy) through the first season of the series before dying in the Earthquakes caused by his father Malcolm (John Barrowman). He returned in flashback during to episodes of season 3 and was not seen again until the crossover. Donnell is a regular on Chicago Med.
The 21st episode of the season is called Docket 11-19-41-73, which seems to indicated that this will involve the fact that there is still a case with the district attorney against Oliver for being the Green Arrow. If that docket number seems strange, the first appearance of Green Arrow was in More Fun Comics #73 that was released in November 1941.
Arrow airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
