Loki Holds Mjolnir in the FCBD 2020 Funko Mystery Box

At long last, the Free Comic Book Day Funko Mystery Box has landed in local comic book stores. This mystery box was rumored back in 2019 and due to recent world events, it was pushed back to the summer instead of its original May release. Funko has already shown that the box will contain 1 Loki Pop, 1 out of 3 Loki themed Pop Tees, and 1 out of 3 Funko Pop Comic Book Variant Cover of Thor #1. My local comic shop got their shipment in today and I needed to crack one of these bad boys open to see what I got. Let's dive on in to see if this Funko Mystery Box is worth the hype.

The mystery box design is pretty cool showing off Asgard's rainbow bridge. Opening the box we are greeted with all three of the goodies included. This was Mystery Box B and it seemingly included the black Loki Pop tee of him holding the hammer. This design is similar to the comic and the pop so I can not complain too much. As for the comic, we got the most common version that will Loki walking on the bridge which is just a simple Pop redesign of the 2019 Loki #1.

The Funko Pop included is where this box really shines. This comic book version of Loki has him holding Thor's Mjolnir in his updated costume. Loki is definitely worthy in this Funko Pop and it even includes a special rainbow bridge insert inside. It isn't often we get specialized background for the Pops backdrop so this is pretty great. For sticker collectors, the widow will show box a PX Exclusive and an FCBD 2020 sticker. The whole design is very well done as it captures him in a nice dynamic pose that is packed with detail. This whole box was pretty much spoiled by Funko before the release but it was still nice to see what Pop Tee you will be getting. For a $30 price tag fans can get a Tee, Pop, and a comic which is not bad if you're a Loki or Marvel fan. The shirts are always comfy and the updated God of Mischief design is a fun and unique Pop that will be a great addition to any fans collection. You can still get some online here or you can check your local comic book store today.
