Aaron Haaland writes;
Hey Fandom! It's the second week of Villains Month over at DC! I let you know what books relate to what ongoing series' and what I liked. Then there are a few Marvel highlights and some great creator owned titles like East of West!
The Villains Month books were a mixed bag as any given week of the New 52 is, but Matt Kindt's Harley Quinn delivered! It came right out of Forever Evil #1 and leads right into #2 of that book and Kindt's Suicide Squad #24. Snyder's Riddler was predictably good. The new Lobo I liked even though I didn't want to. Bedard rocked both Black Manta and Brainiac.
Marvel's Infinity is going strong. Mighty Avengers #1 gives us the heroes left behind, who happen to be mainly non-white. It didn't feel forced to me, much like the X-Men all female team feels organic. Infinity Hunt by Kindt puts all the teen characters not currently being killed in Arena together. Hickman's Avengers #19 was a seamless connection from Infinity #2 to #3. Oh, and I'm enjoying Battle of the Atom! X-Men and time travel scratches my nostalgia inch for their 50th anniversary.
East of West volume one is out for 10 bucks! Check it out if you haven't already. There's plenty more I cover, but watch the video for all that. I hope you find some comics to enjoy this week. I sure and heck did!
