AfterShock Invades Italy, Signing New EXCLUSIVE Deal With SaldaPress

While the world was distracted by the G20 Summit, AfterShock comics made its move!

Italian comic book fans finally be able to get their hands on AfterShock's lineup of books thanks to a new EXCLUSIVE deal between AfterShock and Italian saldaPress. Starting in September, American Monster by Brian Azzarello and Juan Doe, Dreaming Eagles by Garth Ennis and Simon Coleby, Replica by Paul Jenkins and Andy Clarke, Second Site by Davide Hine and Alberto Ponticelli, and, of course, Animosity by Marguerite Bennett and Rafael De Latorre will all be available in Italy, in Italian.

To commemorate the occasion with a sacred corporate ritual, top executives from each company provided complimentary statements for a press release.

"We are really happy to have an EXCLUSIVE deal for Italy with saldaPress," said Jon Kramer, AfterShock CEO. "SaldaPress recognized the amazing work done by Mike Marts, Joe Pruett and Lee Kramer. Together, in less than 18 months, we've created a very rich catalogue filled by big titles and big authors. Aftershock and saldaPress share the same vision regarding the future of comics."

"Both publishing companies are grateful to their authors," said Mike Marts, AfterShock Comics Editor-in-Chief. "The creation of an original idea is almost as important as the publishing company itself. With no original ideas, there wouldn't be stories to publish. SaldaPress shares this idea with AfterShock Comics and that is also why AfterShock Comics full catalogue will be available in Italy through saldaPress."

In addition to this EXCLUSIVE deal with AfterShock, saldaPress also has deals to distribute comics from Skybound, Image Comics, IDW and Dark Horse.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
