Amanda Waller Establishes Herself As DC's Biggest Bad (Spoilers)

Amanda Waller is making it with the Big Bads in Beast World #5, Beast World Tour: Star City #1, Green Arrow #8 and Detective Comics #1081.

Article Summary

  • Amanda Waller unveils her Big Bad plan, threatening a million lives for 'the greater good'.
  • Justice Society of America joins the endangered list in Beast World Tour: Star City #1.
  • Resurrection Twins emerge as medium-sized villains alongside Lex Luthor's Revenge Squad.
  • Nightwing confronts Waller, and Green Arrow uncovers her lethal strategy for world peace.

Tomorrow sees the publication of Beast World #5, as well as Beast World Tour: Star City #1, Green Arrow #8 and even Detective Comics #1081, with plenty of Big Bads to go around. At the beginning of the month, Bleeding Cool told you that Amanda Waller was going to permanently set herself up as the Big Bad of the DC Universe, And nothing says Big Bad like the Ozymandias-like attempt to kill a million people "for the greater good". Except, unlike Veidt, she doesn't actually hide what she is doing. She had been handed Presidential power as part of The Bureau Of Sovereignty (and yes, that does seem to tie in with The Sovereign over in Wonder Woman) to deal with the Beast World, and in tomorrow's Beast World, #4 has taken it.

And who are these people that Amanda Waller is going to kill? Well, tomorrow's Beast World Tour: Star City #1 adds gthe Justice Society Of America to that million-strong number.
