Batman's Dad Doesn't Read Comics? Infinite Frontier Spoilers
Thomas Wayne, the Batman of his world, who saw his son Bruce Wayne shot in an alley and whose wife went on to become their reality's Joker, is quite a serious person. As one might expect. So when confronted with the dimensional glory of the DC Multiverse or Omniverse, it's a bit much. Especially given the best way to access the information.
That would be the Multiverse Guide by Grant Morrison being plugged there in today's Infinite Frontier #2 . $6 on eBay, though the endorsement might affect this going forward. Maybe DC Comics should reprint – or update it. But what of Bruce Wayne, Thomas Wayne's son. does he read comics? Batman: The Detective #4 has no answers about comic books, but as for toys?
He totally does. As for reading comic books, if you read Detective Comics #1039 it is possible editorial doesn't read every panel, as the fill-in text about Vile's history includes stuff that we probably weren't meant to read, even if it is praising us that we did.
Maybe Thomas Wayne would be a better detective if he read the comic books? His son is clearly a better Batman because he plays with toys.
