Battle Of The Big Bads – Bane Vs Solomon Grundy

I have to say I really like these Versus videos that DC is doing. It makes you think about pitting characters against each other that you might not normally see. Like this week. I'd never of thought of putting Solomon Grundy up against Bane. Truth is, I don't think about Grundy all that much. Never found the character that interesting, but also never thought about him as a zombie. Bane is smart and well trained. With Venom running through his veins he is super strong, but without it he is vulnerable and too much drives him insane. You'd think someone that smart would find a better protected delivery system for his drugs than a couple exposed tubes in the back of his head. Grundy on the other hand is over 9 feet tall, super strong, super resilient and comes back to life. That last one being the trump card. Grundy can die over and over and come back, Bane can only die once. Even though Grundy is dumb as a box of rocks… I think in the end he would win.
