Betrayed by Ironheart in Champions #9 [Preview]

Champions #9 is in stores on Wednesday from Marvel Comics, the penultimate issue of the series, by the creative team of Jim Zub and Steven Cummings. But if you can't wait three days, we've got a preview of the issue below.

For the second-to-last time, get caught up with the recap page.

And we find the champions arriving at Viv's house for a rescue.

But it's a trap!

And even worse, it's a trap set by one of their own: Ironheart!

Has Riri Williams turned to the dark side? Well…

The solicit tells us Miles Morales returns to the team this issue. Will he be able to snap Riri out of this spell? We're guessing probably, as you can't end the series on a down note like Ironheart killing all her friends… can you?!
