Who had this to say,
Strong week. Death of Wolverine would have sold better had I ordered more copies. The last issue of the limited series was the quickest sell out of the limited series. DC's weeklies all placed in the top ten. DC's monster variants really helped their sales with people buying the regular and monster variant of the same title.
Strong week for books overall. Death of Wolverine was obviously going to be the big winner of the week. Closest book was still crushed 3/1 in sales
Wytches #1 still performing great. Sold two cases since last Friday. Figure i can sell the other 5oo copies in the next week or so. Mr Snyder is now paying my electric bill with Batman and my phone/internet with Wytches…thanks.
Marvel & DC dominated our top ten this week, but Marvel was clearly the winner. With AXIS AND Death of Wolverine in the same week, nobody was going to touch them. Both books sold great but Death of Wolverine brought people in that we've either never seen before or hadn't seen in ages. Axis just seems to be another cross over that's catching the regular cross over crowd. Edge of Spider-verse this week brought a ton of people in too due to Gerard Way writing it. Not only did we get the fans of his music but also the people who remember him from Umbrella Academy & Killjoys.
Death of Wolverine ruled the day. Axis #2 sold one more copy than World's End #2. Not a good start for a big X-Men & Avengers event for Marvel vs an Earth 2 spinoff.
So-so week for sales. Futures End sales have plateaued but Worlds End and Batman Eternal are still strong. Daredevil and Ms. Marvel are big sellers outside of Marvel's "event books."
Justice League barely eked out the top spot over Death of Wolverine. This week was a very uneventful week as the top 6 spots go to Marvel. Dc takes its two usually spots. The indies manage two spots as well. There was more focus on back issues and trades then New issues this week. Though sales were great there wasn't too much to offer to the customers for new hot books.
