Who had this to say
Batman and Star Wars in the same week? That's a good week.
Nice mix this week between the big 2!
Bruce Wayne's return made it the top seller at our shop. Seems like the people who were waiting for him to come back were really happy (doesn't hurt that it was a $6). What's really surprising to me still is how well Obi-Wan and Anakin is doing for us. For all the hate the Prequel Trilogy gets, you'd think this wouldn't be selling well at all, but it always does surprisingly well for us!
Punisher back issues are selling thanks to him being in the TV show Daredevil. It's Supergirl all over again. People want new comics based on Punisher but there isn't any so they are getting back issues.
#1 book was Batman this week which was no surprise. Star Wars came close but no cigar. The rest of the books did well and many readers tried out new things since we did not have a flood of titles this week like the last 3.
Batman #21's and batman and Robin Future's End moved briskly along with Wonder Woman back issue which was no surprise. Will expect huge chunks taken out of the bin next week after the weekend crowd of movie goers.
Well now, our list is back to normal. A sea of Marvel with two Bat-Islands.
Batman was #1 by a long shot.
With the hype of the Star Wars comics having settled its down to #3 on our list edged out by All Adjective Avengers.
Stand off gave Avengers titles a bump. All around not much to report. Typical week with no surprises. Two bat-titles made our top ten this week, with Batman #50 taking first place. Otherwise, the highest-placing non-Bat DC was a twelfth place finish. Klaus continues to sell well, even though we're well past the Christmas season–apparently Grant Morrison knows no season!
Strong interest in Batman #21 as a result of the events of Batman #50.
This week was all about Star Wars and Civil War sales. Fans are really stocking up and Civil War product almost was 25% of our overall sales this week. Harley still rocking the top spot.
