Chimera Nottingham Comic Shop to Close

The Chimera Nottingham comic book shop in Beeston, Nottingham is to close at the end of October. Co-owners Heather and Andy Chimera posted to Facebook,

Times are changing and Chimera is changing with the times. Sunday the 6th of October will be our last day of trading in the current store (105 High Road, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2LH) as our lease is up and it is not viable to renew this in these uncertain times.

You are all invited to join us for a day of partying and games on Sunday the 6th October to celebrate the end of an era and the start of a new one.

For the foreseeable future we will be relocating to our warehouse in Bilborough, this won't be open to the general public, but you'll still be able to order online from us, for delivery to home.

Comic Customers: Please advise us if you would like your orders delivering to you at home, you'll be able to pay via the website or via PayPal. (Please could we ask you all to pick up your existing orders before our final day in store).

Many thanks to all of our customers, who have become our friends and our community throughout the years. We will no doubt see you at some of our "Out of the Box" events, which will be announced in conjunction with some other local venues shortly.

We are now having a Store Clearance Sale, certain items are now Half Price, come on down and grab yourselves a bargain.

Thanks Heather & Andy.
