Comic Shop Owners' Last Chance To Order For Hellboy Day
In a me-too promotion along the lines of Bleeding Cool publisher Avatar Press' Crossed Day, Dark Horse is reserving a whole day to celebrate Hellboy's twentieth anniversary on March 22nd.
But today's the day the retailers set their Final Order Cut-Off figures for all the comics and things they'll have on sale for then.
Here are the kind of things you'll be able to get… As well as a peek at the Hellboy Sampler….
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the worlds greatest paranormal investigator and the release of the Hellboy: The First 20 Years art book (NOV130011), we are announcing March 22 to be Hellboy Day. To commemorate this event, Dark Horse is offering special support for our retail partners and inviting you to celebrate with us! Through these promotional offerings, retailers will have the chance to receive special materials and additional sale pricing, and all participating retailers will be automatically entered to win an original piece of Mike Mignola art.
While qualifying accounts will receive five posters, five Hellboy comic samplers, five window clings, and five B.P.R.D. miniprints, quantities will be based on participation levels. Retailers can qualify for one of the following by placing orders for any of the Hellboy or B.P.R.D. titles listed on the facing page.
Liz Sherman (Level 1)- Order 5 trade paperbacks
Includes one promotional package, an additional 5% discount, and an automatic entry to win a piece of original Mignola art.
Abe Sapien (Level 2)- Order 10 trade paperbacks
Includes two promotional packages, an additional 10% discount, and an automatic entry to win a piece of original Mignola art.
