The Secret Origin of The Rumor in Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #9
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #9 explores the secret history of… Spider-Man's neighbor, Marnie? Well, it turns out Marnie is an old superhero called The Rumor, and in this preview, we get to see her history and how it ties in with one of the most famous origins at Marvel: Captain America's. And there she joined the war effort, fighting alongside Captain America. It's this part that intrigues Spidey, who's hoping for some dirt on his fellow New Avenger from back in the day.
And Marnie does have some to share…
Well, we already knew that. The more things change…
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #9 hits stores on Wednesday.
