ComiXology And Marvel Apple Apps Go HD – And ComiXology Embeds Social Networking TooWe ran a comparison piece on the new ComiXology HD App the other day, and now it's gone live for Apple devices.

The Marvel App has also offered an HD Update.

But far more than offering higher definition comics for the same price as before, perfectly suited for the new iPad but also accessible with zoom on previous devices, ComiXology are kitting the App out with social networking facilities.

Facebook sharing for their reviews and thoughts on the comics available, with their comics collection able to be shared on the Facebook page, twitter sharing to tell people when you're downloading a comic, and email sharing of details about a comic, expect your inboxes, twitterstreams andFacebook activities of friends to start filling up!

Oh and given that the new HD comics will be larger in size, you can now start reading the comic before it has fully downloaded…
