DC Comics Won't Admit That The Harley Quinn Variant Original Art Covers Exist
Yesterday we ran the story that a lucky customer of Collected Comics of Hirst, Texas opened his black bagged Harley Quinn's Little Black Book #1 to discover an original piece of art sketched onto a blank cover.
Well here's a second one, spotted by Bleeding Cool reader Robert E. Waring drawn by Joe Quinones.
I understand that there may be two or three of these for each of the Harley Quinn black bag variants of DC Comics titles running through the month.
But DC Comics will not admit that they exist – not to reporters, not even to enquiring retailers. Which may be down to Lottery rules – but DC Comics won't comment about those either.
I am however hearing confirmation that original art covers will be found in all the black bag Harley variants this month. And it's a mechanic they expect to use again and again…
Basically, if you get one, you are very very lucky. Just don't expect a retweet from DC Comics if you tweet your good fortune.
Here's where you should be looking…
