Could #deleteUBER Spill Over Into #deleteMARVEL? Or #deleteSTARWARS?
Last Saturday, after two Iraqis were detained at New York's JFK Airport as part of the new immigration ban, the New York City Taxi Worker's Alliance called for a complete stop to pickups from the airport. Uber, though stating they would suspend their surge pricing from JFK, declined to follow suit.
And while they did announce a plan to compensate the dozen or so Uber drivers impacted by the ban and stuck overseas for three months (at least), Uber's rival Lyft responded by announcing a million dollar donation to the ACLU and opposition to the immigration ban. They also provided service to and from JFK though, but few people seemed no notice that.
Instead #deleteUBER began to take off as a hashtag, as people did just that.

This has become a real thing. But how much further could it go? Depending on who is working with or within Donald Trump's administration, such as Marvel chairman Ike Perlmutter, Trump donor and working on veteran policy and Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger part of a new policy forum?
Now Marvel has been responsible for progressive comics such as Ms Marvel, World Of Wakanda, Moon Knight, Patsy Walker, Unstoppable Wasp and more. But is that overshadowed? For some, yes, it is.

Unlike #deleteUBER, it's not a cause that celebrities have taken up. Yet. Of course if they move off Marvel movies in favour of DC….
Whatever path you take it's not going to be easy…
