Vault Comics' Fissure Goes Day-And-Date – Exclusive Extended Preview
Vault Comics is unveiling their new series Fissure on February 8th in both print and digitally on Comixology. It's rare for a new publisher to be able to go day-and-date so quickly.
Fissure tells the tale of El Sueño, TX. (which translates to 'The Dream"), a small town on the border between the United States and Mexico. The town is already divided by countries when a giant fissue opens up, running form one end of the town to the other. rapidly swallowing El Sueño whole. Avery Lee Olmos and Hark Wright, a young couple living in the town, fight to escape the mysterious sinkhole and the malevolent force that beckons from its depths.
This seems like a pretty straight forward allegory for a certain wall that has been in the news over the last year.
The series is scripted and designed by Tim Daniel, covers, art and colors by Patricio Delpeche and letters by Deron Bennett.
And here we have an exclusive extended preview pages from the first issue.
