Gossip: Second Ongoing Spider-Man Title On The Way… Any Day Now

Nothing like a little Bleeding Cool water cooler gossip over what's going on with the Spider-Man books. As we have seen (and reported) Marvel has been publishing one ongoing Spider-Man series, Amazing Spider-Man from Nick Spencer, Ryan Ottley and friends. The other series, although billed as ongoing series, are planned and scheduled internally as mini-series – which occasionally as with Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man get unexpectedly extended. But recent delays with that series, and with JJ Abrams and Sara Pichelli's Spider-Man, and the addition of the Immortal Hulk Great Power Spider-Man book by Friendly Neighborhood writer Tom Taylor and artist Jorge Molina have helped keep more Spider-Man books on the schedule while Marvel prepares a second ongoing regular Spider-Man title to run alongside Amazing. It may launch very soon, around about when Amazing Spider-Man kicks off its 'Last Remains' storyline. So while we are waiting I am also told to look out for more Symbiote mini-series to run after the upcoming already-successful Spider-Man Symbiote: Alien Reality mini-series with the Hobgoblin.
