In the Solo movie, it was established that Han Solo served in the Empire. At the time some asked if this meant that he was a Stormtrooper, but Lucasfilm representatives shied away from such questions and there were possibilities that he was in a different branch of the Empire infantry in the years before he became a smuggler.

But in today's Star Wars #58 by Kieron Gillen and Angel Unzueta, Han Solo takes a moment (when he's not toplessly chopping wood)

He's not been in the suit-and-helmet in the Star Wars: Han Solo – Imperial Cadet comic currently being published. Is that yet to come?
