I'll give it to Natasha Alterici and her comic book Heathen from Vault Comics, they're never afraid of getting attention. Heathen #1 will get a second printing on April 12th with a new cover above by Jen Bartel. And a second issue out next week

Natasha Alterici's comic Heathen follows Aydis, a viking, a warrior, an outcast, and a self-proclaimed heathen. Aydis is friend to the talking horse Saga, rescuer of the immortal Valkyrie Brynhild, and battler of demons and fantastic monsters. Aydis is a woman. Born into a time of warfare, suffering, and subjugation of women, she is on a mission to end the oppressive reign of the god-king Odin.

"The reception of Heathen has been nothing short of amazing, and I am so grateful for all the comic shops and readers who gave this little viking tale a chance" says Natasha Alterici. "Can't wait to share the rest of Aydi's story with you."

"It's tremendously heartening to see the market affirm our love for Heathen" says Vault Publisher, Damian Wassel. "This book is something magical, and I can't wait to share it with more readers."

"Obvious favoritism aside, Heathen is one of the best comics I've ever read. Fans deserve this book. And this book deserves a lot of fans" says Adrian Wassel, Editor-in-Chief of Vault Comics. "I feel honored to help Natasha, a true phenom, reach them."
