How the Film 'Hero Tomorrow' Brings 'Apama' and 'Tap Dance Killer' to Comic Stores in April 2018 Solicits
Hero Tomorrow is a 2007 movie (with a 2015 cut) written and directed by Ted Seduka and co-written by Milo Miller, set in and around a comic book shop.
David spends his days cutting grass and his nights smoking it while desperately trying to keep his superhero fantasies alive. when Robyn, his aspiring fashion designer girlfriend, makes him a Halloween costume of his original character APAMA, it doesn't take David long to hit the streets and begin blundering towards DISASTER. This comic book Don Quixote is characterized by surreal flourishes, mixing dream, fantasy, and flashbacks that borrow as much from the art house as the comic shop.
Two comic books spun out of the later cut, distributed digitally by ComiXology. A few years later and they are coming to print, distributed by Diamond to comic book stores internationally, starting in April 2018, as Hero Tomorrow Comics.
