John Constantine, No Longer in the Justice League? (Spoilers)

To be honest, John Constantine's membership of Justice League Dark from DC Comics, seeing him operating out of the Hall of Justice alongside the likes of Wonder Woman and Doctor Fate always looked a bit weird. He is John Constantine after all, which is why his recent return to London in the Sandman Presents series written by Si Spurrier was rather welcome, leaving all that superhero nonsense behind.

Of course, he's still appearing inJustice League Dark, and hanging out at the Halls Of Justice. Or rather he was. In today's Justice League Dark #23 by Ram V, Jams Tynion IV, Kyle Hotz, June Chung and Rob Leigh, he does somethings. Betrays promises he made to his enemies.

Betrayed promises John Constantine made to his friends.

And does what John Constantine needs to do, no matter what the cost.
