Jonathan Ross Draws His Own Variant Cover For Revenge #1 – And We've Had To Censor It

British broadcaster, comedian and presenter, Jonathan Ross has written a number of comics of late, including Turf and America's Got Powers. But for his new series, Revenge, with Ian Churchill, it seems just writing the damn thing is not enough. He's pencilled a cover too.

An exclusive cover, available only at Forbidden Planet, we also had to censor it a little to get it through Bleeding Cool's puritan nudity strictures.

I have to say, I think that's pretty damn fine, sex and death intertwined, the heart bed, the wallpaper stars, the abandoned champagne and glasses with guns and knives at the ready (and where were they keeping them anyway?) it all has a rather pleasant asymmetry of design.

He might have a future at this. Oh and look, he can draw feet too…

Ross and Churchill will be signing the comic on Saturday the 1st of March from 1pm to 2pm at the Shaftesbury Avenue Forbidden Planet in London. Signed copies of the variant can be ordered directly from the website if you can't make it down to the store…

Griffin Franks was a joke in Hollywood. A washed up action-hero. Over the hill. Past it. A has-been. A barely-was. But now he IS The Revenger. He's a star. His movie's a hit. His latest wife is hot. He finally has everything he wants. Just in time for someone to take it all away. Forever. Starting with his face.
