Marvel Makes Superior Spider-Man & Marvel Zombies Variants Returnable

Marvel Comics has made a few changes to some upcoming books, which has seen them make them returnable to comic book stores.

Marvel Comics has made a few changes to some upcoming books, which has seen them make them returnable to comic book stores. In November the 16th's PrintWatch, we reported "Marvel Comics is sending Superior Spider-Man #1 from Dan Slott and Mark Bagley, out yesterday, back to a second print next year, with a 1:25 variant cover, out for the 10th of January 2024." A change was made to the Superior Spider-Man #1 second printing incentive variant, so as a result, Marvel is making the full second printing returnable, in case retailers ordered extra to get the ratio variant… but only if the ratio variant is also returned.

Originally, they had these as the Superior Spider-Man #1 Mark Bagley 2nd Printing Variant and a Superior Spider-Man #1 Mark Bagley 2nd Printing Variant (1:25 Ratio). But as of tomorrow, the second has been replaced by a virgin variant cover instead.

While Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood #4 Humberto Ramos 1:50 Unearthed Variant is also being made returnable, alongside any qualifying covers, by stint of the fact that it was not drawn by Humberto Ramos, but instead by Ivan Sharvin. Again, Marvel is making the full first printing returnable, in case retailers ordered extra to get the ratio variant… but only if the ratio variant is also returned.
