Nebula gets her own solo series from Marvel Comics this week, with Nebula #1 launching by Vita Ayala and Claire Roe. And if you thought that Nebula would be the hero of this book just because she's the star, well, you'd better take a look at this preview.

Because the very first thing we see Nebula do is kidnap an innocent child.

It seems her father has something Nebula wants, and she's willing to go to extremes to get it.

It's an upgrade for her cybernetics that will give her the ability to essentially see the future.

And if this scientist doesn't hand it over, Nebula is going to blow up a bomb she planted in his daughter's brain.

Nebula #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
