Nemo: River Of Ghosts Now Available For Pre-Order

Calling all fans of the terrifying pirate queen! Nemo: River of Ghosts from Top Shelf Productions and Knockabout Comics, is now available for pre-order. Creators Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill are releasing the third installment in the graphic novel series. Captain Janni Nemo will steer her wondrous ship Nautilus into the tropical mysteries of the Amazon, in a last attempt to put the blood-drenched spectres of old to rest. Thus far, the Nemo graphic novels have followed her confrontations with unearthly Antarctic horrors in Heart of Ice, and mechanical monstrosities in Roses of Berlin.

For those of you who don't know, this story was a follow up to Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which critics called "magnificent," and "arguably one of the greatest comics of all time". Instead of stopping there, Moore and O' Neill continued the story by focusing on Captain Nemo's steel-hearted daughter Janni.

I shamefully must admit that I haven't had a chance to read this series, but am now reminded of how I must pick it up! It sounds like an excellent read. Besides, I always enjoy reading any story that focuses on a strong female, and Janni sounds like a very powerful character. Nemo: River of Ghosts, is said to have an ending that will leave readers astonished, so if you're a fan of the series prepare yourself for that! It's set to release in March, but you can pre-order it now.
