Odd Couple – The Comic, The Movie?

Have you noticed a lot of super hero movies at the multiplex over the past few years, or is it just me?

Most of them are produced by huge multi-media conglomerates.  Whether they are a success or a bomb, it is pretty much up to the actors, directors, producers and how they interpret the source material.  As an audience member you really don't have a say in how it all turns out.

But… what if you did?!

What if you could donate to a crowdfunder that would take a small independent comic (so small they could only ever dream of being published by Image!)… one which has already been produced as a self-financed web series… and turn it into a feature film right in front of your eyes?

That's the fate of The Adventures Of Steve The Movie,  a San Diego based labor or love determined to translate the action comedy comic into a small indie film with aspirations to be next summers sleeper box-office hit.

The Adventures Of Steve is a high concept comic that answers the question, "What happens when an average joe winds up the roommate to the World's Greatest Super Hero?"  It is laugh out loud funny, cry out loud poignant, and stand up and cheer out loud awesome…

… and now you get to help bring the story from the comic page to the silver screen!

Maybe.

Look it's either that, or Jonah Hex 2. You choose.
