Parents Just Don't Understand in Magnificent Ms. Marvel #4 (Preview)

In next week's Magnificent Ms. Marvel #4, the titular Ms. Marvel finds herself marooned on an alien planet after the ruler she came to help — surprise — turned out to be evil and then shot her spaceship out of the sky. Which, for Ms. Marvel's parents, who decided to come along on this trip after her dad found out about her secret identity, is the end of it. Time to go home to Jersey City!

Unfortunately, that's not the end of the story.

And Ms. Marvel doesn't feel that way either. So as they decide to stay and help, and trek through the sewers to avoid detection, another misunderstanding occurs.

And Ms. Marvel is forced to make herself clear.

Somehow, we doubt that's the end of it.
