Friday Trending Topics: The Avengers Take Over
The Avengers have headlined quite a few trending topic posts recently, and something tells me that's going to continue pretty regularly over the next several weeks. If it's not the film, it's the comics, and as Marvel is getting steadily better at coordinating big film and comic releases, that could take the comics market into interesting places in the coming years.

Given the ordering incentives that Marvel have instigated for Avengers Vs X-Men, its respective crossovers, and the six figure numbers ordered by retailers, it shouldn't be too hard to find a copy of the comics if that's what you're interested in.
Todd McFarlane To Pay Neil Gaiman $382,000. Plus Interest.
Thanks to Daniel Best who pulled out a bunch of legal papers on the Neil Gaiman/Todd McFarlane case over owed moneys, showing that as part of the lawsuit, and the subsequent bankruptcy of one of Todd McFarlane's companies, he had to pay $382,000 into an escrow holding system, which Daniel estimates as $450,000 now after interest. The full sum has now been released as both sides have now settled, and can now be claimed by Gaiman, along with any other moneys owed. Which will then be claimed by Gaiman's lawyers…
