Bourne Legacy Sequel Gets A Screenwriter
Jeremy Renner is coming for his chems. Again. A sequel to The Bourne Legacy has been in the works for some time, and now there may be new movement on it as THR reports Andrew Baldwin has been tasked with writing the script.
Justin Lin has been attached to direct the film which follows Renner's Aaron Cross, a sleeper agent in the Jason Bourne mold who wakes up to the truth and tries to break free of it all, last seen commandeering a boat and sailing off into the sunset with Rachel Weisz, the doctor who used to administer him his precious chems, at his side.
Matt Damon made Bourne news recently reiterating that he'd be open to returning as Jason Bourne, but I'm going to go ahead and bet that we'll be watching Aaron Cross on the big screen for the foreseeable future.
