Can Sacramento's Superheroes Catch Josh Hoopes?

Can Sacramento's Superheroes Catch Josh Hoopes?Apologies to all Sacramentoans but Sacramento means one thing to me. The home of comics' most nefarious villain, Josh Hoopes. Known for committing many acts of fraud against publishers and creators alike, from Art Adams to Joe Pruitt to TokyoPop, conning the most vulnerable of work and funds, he seems to flit from Sacramento in California to South America. Last heard of, he was collaborating with another infamous comics figure, Rob Granito, though little has been heard of that unholy union since. There are legal fights against Hoopes from all sides, but nothing has come to fruition.

But we might be able to recruit a new ally. Or allies.

The NorCal Protectorate, a group of Real Life Superheroes who operate in the Bay Area of California have expanded their patrols to include Sacramento.

A news report follows the likes of Motor Mouth, with bullet proof powers (in that he wears a bulletproof vest) and Mutinous Angel on patrol and and their attempts to recruit new bodies to mask up and get out there. The reporter fails to get an inteview with Sacramento's resident superhero, Minerva of Pearl.

But this is a different appeal. Guys and gals, this is an old photo of Josh Hoopes. Wanted for crimes against comics. This is an old photo, but if you see him, do let us know…
