Everyone Who's Anyone In Transformers Comics Signs #100 To Benefit Rocket Raccoon's Bill Mantlo
Comic book creators Simon Furman, Geoff Senior, Bob Budiansky, Jose Delbo, Lee Sullivan, Stephen Baskerville, Andrew Wildman, Guido Guidi, Nick Roche, Jason Cardy, John Paul Bove, Casey Collier, all known for their work on Transformers comic books, have all signed thirty copies of the hundred's edition of the comic book, published by IDW and they are being auctioned on eBay right now, the benefit Bill Mantlo and his ongoing major care.
Mantlo was the victim of a hit-and-run in the eighties, something that has left him in a vulnerable mental and physical state, and curtailed his writing career. But before then, he had worked for decades in comic book, on the way creating the likes of Micronauts, Rom The Space Knight and Rocket Raccoon, the latter of whom came to major prominence this summer in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Marvel have already made ex gracia payments towards Mantlo's care, but such fulltime care is expensive and so there are continuing attempts to rise money for the man.
The thirty copies are currently going up on eBay USA and eBay UK and have several days left to run…
