The Wachowskis and Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski are developing a TV series called Sense8. Everyone is keeping tight lipped on any sort of specifics but Reliance Entertainment producer Mark Rossen said:
An Idea so large in size and scale, it makes no sense to try it as a pilot. The only way to let the filmmakers realize their vision on something like this is to do a few episodes.

None of you asked for it but you are all getting it. The original was such a resounding success that Yogi Bear 2 has been given the go ahead with Dukes of Hazards director Jay Chandrasekhar in the big chair. Who is excited? [Deadline]
Meryl Streep is in line to play 'the Witch' in Rob Marshall's adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods. The musical is an original story that borrows characters from Rapunzel, Jack and the Bean Stock, Red Riding Hood and more. its read through borrowed liberally too – Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Nina Arianda, Patrick Wilson and loads more all took part. And to finish up, here is Brendan Gleeson dressed as a reverend on the set of Calvary. Reteaming with the The Guard director John Michael McDonagh, Gleeson will be playing a good-hearted priest who gets threatened during confession. Comedy-drama ensues. Probably a lot of great swearing too, if form is anything to go by.
That's all folks.
