GuyWatch: Russell Burlingame talks to Dan Jurgens about Justice League International #1

IX: Ice certainly seems to know what makes Guy tick. Given that she was dating him like a year ago in Green Lantern Corps (that book still counts, right?), is it safe to say that relationship is a part of their shared backstory?

DJ: Not quite to the extent you might think. They've had a few dates. Not a deep, long term relationship.

SpurlockWatch: Chuck Rozanski on being in Morgan Spurlock's new movie, Comic Con.

"As regards our Comic-Con movie, it finally screened in the sold-out 500-seat Scotiabank Theatre at 8 PM. The other participants of the movie were seated in our same row, along with most of the producers and editors of the film. We were also blessed to have Joshua Weinstein and Nick Higgins at the screening, who were, respectively, the producer and the cameraman of our personal shooting team. All of us were sitting on the edges of our seats in nervous anticipation, as only the editors had actually seen the final cut, which was rumored to have only been finished on Wednesday. Whatever the case may be, the movie turned out to be a huge hit with the fans in attendance. As the editors cleverly interwove the 7 character studies with about 100 interviews and sound bites from other attendees into 88 minutes of film, people at first became engrossed and enchanted, and then began to applaud, laugh uproariously, and finally to sniffle and cry, as some highly emotional scenes unfolded. The film ended with all five hundred people in attendance giving Morgan and his amazingly talented crew a standing ovation. On so many different levels, this premiere simply could not have turned out any better."

Should comic books emulate the TV biz? Plus: More reviews of 'The New 52' | Shelf Life | EW.com

This post represents the fifth time this past week that EW.com has written about "The New 52." That's some serious Glee-like overkill! Hopefully, "The New 52" will help spark renewed, lasting interest in the medium, and not be remembered as a gimmicky adrenaline injection that will quickly fade.

SRBissette.com – "Draw My Graphic Novel! Storyboard My Movie!"

Long answer: I am literally asked what you've asked me WEEKLY, seeking either me to engage or for me to steer some other cartoonist or CCS student (as if they've nothing better to do, like, oh, their own work plus the education they've paid for) to a similar task, and have been since about 2006. What nobody (or precious few) seem to realize:
