Preview The Oceanic Fantasy Developments In Anne Bonnie #3 And Get Your Copy At NYCC

We've been following the trajectory of Blue Juice's Anne Bonnie comic here at Bleeding Cool for some time, as the first venture of Kubert School graduate Tim Yates into full art duties on top of his other projects as a colorist, and the comic has had a wide reception, selling out in each issue. Yates has let us know that Anne Bonnie #3 is coming to New York Comic Con ahead of its October 15th shop release date and it's your chance to get an early copy of this fantasy pirate adventure with its unique manga-influenced visual style and vibrant colors.

To wax reminiscent, it was at a New York Comic Con in 2012 that I first saw Yates sketching on a character concept that would become Anne Bonnie, and boy has it come a long way. In fact, I venture to say that this comic has really grown into its own promise, seen here with highly polished linework and the introduction of compelling creature-elements that raise the fantasy level in the comic to new heights.

And we've even been given a substantial preview to share with you here on Bleeding Cool so you can see that evolution yourself:

Blue Juice Comics and Tim Yates will have Anne Bonnie #3 at booth #2068, and also have copies of the first trade edition of The Accelerators, on which Yates is the colorist. If you want to see what's coming down the line for Yates, sneak up on him and see what he's doodling in his notebooks. Just a word of advice.
