Superior Teams Up With The MS Society As Matthew Vaughn Officially Officially Announces He's Optioned Superior

Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn have been saying they're making a movie of Superior, the Marvel comic book by Mark Millar and Leinil Yu, for a while now. Millar has even stated that Vaughn will be produced but probably won't be directing the film. But apparently that wasn't actually an announcement.

And today is an actual announcement.

What does make it newsworthy, is that Millar has made a deal with the Multiple Sclerosis Society to use Superior in their awareness outreach. Superior's child secret identity, Simon Pooni, has MS, and its his transformation (and in the most recent issue out this week, his reversion) that make his journey more telling.

There are no details yet, but if the film does get made, it could be quite the publicity raiser for the charity.
