The Bleed Episode 9: Reading Neurocomic With Dr. Hana Ros And Dr. Matteo Farinella

By Joseph Kyle Schmidt

The Bleed is a weekly book club by Bleeding Cool contributors Joseph Schmidt and Sam Morse. The group meets every Wednesday on Google Hangout to discuss news, the latest comics, creator interviews and the pick of the week.

This week we're changing up the format a bit and talking with the creators of our pick. We'll be discussing the Nobrow Press graphic novel Neurocomic by Dr. Hana Ros and Dr. Matteo Farinella.

Farinella and Ros are neuroscientists who collaborated to create the book; they aren't your "average" comic book creators. The London-based duo took the time from their busy schedules to chat with us about their collaboration, their backgrounds, the history of neuroscience and what the future might hold.

You can download us if you're on the go here or take a listen below. We're looking to get listed on the iTunes directory and making it as easy as possible for you to stay updated with all of our latest ramblings. Look forward to that soon!

Next week we will be back to our regular time and format, talking about Joann Sfar's adaptation of the French children's book, the Little Prince. Ryan Burton of Image Comics' Dark Engine is rejoining us, who picked this week's book, as will Danni Norris of Dr. Fantasy's Comics 'n More in Glendale, Arizona. Click here to view the Google Hangout.
