Jake Tinsley is the 14 year old author of the Night Owl comic series published by his father Ben Tinsley as Wham Bang Comics. John McCrea is taking students of the comics course he runs with Hunt Emerson to a Spanish comics convention, the XIV Jornades De Comic De Avilés which already has quite the lineup…
Liberty Comics #2 has this rather nice cover… and a lead story by Neil Gaiman and Jim Lee. I get the feeling that this CBLDF comic book might be quite popular, no? Not to mention Painkiller Jane by Jimmy Palmiotti and Jim Rugg, Mr. Gum by Mike Allred and Jamie S. Rich, The Apocalipstix by Ray Fawkes and Cameron Stewart, Channel Zero by Brian Wood, a preview of Choker by Ben McCool and Ben Templesmith and a Martha Washington piece by Dave Gibbons. Add a bunch of other stuff from Paul Pope, Gail Simone, Joelle Jones, Kathryn Immonen, Stuart Immonen, Chynna Clugston, Jason Aaron & Moritat and I believe you have a decent selling charity comic right there. Out next month.
The Jim Lee pages are coming into the office right now apparently…
