Thursday Trending Topics: The Return Of Wonder Woman's Pants

Thursday Trending Topics: The Return Of Wonder Woman's Pants2011 was a banner year for the discussion of Wonder Woman's pants.  First there was intense discussion and fan photoshopping over how they should look in reaction to the photo of Adrianne Palicki in costume.  Then there was that twitpic photo of Palicki in the booty-shorts version of costume which set off a whole new round of discussion.  Then came the New 52, and the controversy over whether there was a pants policy for female characters. And it pretty much continued on from there for awhile… so much so that there's actually a BC pants tag to keep track of all those pants stories.

By comparison, 2012 has been relatively silent on this subject — except for Injustice: Gods Among Us stories.  Back in June, Nerdy Show interviewed the senior producer of the game at E3 for Bleeding Cool, and reported that the pants were returning for the game. And now there's this.  So, we have reason to talk about Wonder Woman's pants again, at least for a little while.

And with CW's new attempt at a Wonder Woman series… I bet we'll be talking about Wonder Woman's pants quite a bit again in 2013.
