Remember When… Dennis Barger Took A Busted Up Box To Diamond Retailer Meeting

The smashed up Harley Quinn statue featured earlier today on Bleeding Cool was, it seems from Dennis Barger of Wonderworld and Quickstop Comics in Michigan.

A representative of big comic book store asked me last week why I kept giving Dennis Barger a platform at Bleeding Cool. Well, basically, because he is loud and outspoken on issues. Which generally makes for good story. But I am open to input from all sorts of other retailers as well, and you'll also see stores such as A Comic Store, Orbital Comics, Page 45, Big Bang Comics who make a big impact.

But still, it can't be denied, Dennis is something special. Such as when he turned up at a Diamond Retailer Meeting with a box of beaten up comic books that had just been delivered to his store…
