The Return Of Ellis And Gallaher's High Moon To Comics
David Gallaher and Steve Ellis' High Moon was one of the first hits from the cruelly-abandoned-before-its-time digital comics line Zuda from DC Comics.
And now, eight years later, it is returning as a digital comic in its own right, opening with eight pages and then publishing four pages a week every Monday.
Ellis, who also drew the recent Better Call Saul webcomic will be at Long Beach Comic Expo this week.
On Reddit/r/comicbooks, he also talked about,
I'm working on Monsterwood for Jason Rosen, which is a really cool dark fantasy story. Jason is a talented sculptor who created the world and I'm working on the OGN to flesh the world out.
And in case you need a little reminding…
Pinkerton agent and current bounty-hunter Matthew Macgregor investigates a series of strange happenings in a small Texas town. Drought has brought famine and hardship to Blest. The summer heat pushes the temperature to unbearable heights during the day. The nights are even worse — for the streets are haunted by strange, unnatural creatures. And even as Macgregor works to uncover the truth about the creatures, he struggles to keep his own supernatural nature a secret.
