Take the Shirt Off Frank Quitely's Back

Glasgow clothing label 1 of 100, has teamed up with Vincent Deighan – better known as Frank Quitely – for a limited edition t-shirt, featuring s design of a bag of snakes. The label specialises in creating clothing items limited to 100 pressings, just as one might a limited edition print or comic book.

Previously collaborating with clubbing institution Melting Pot, fashion blog Kingdom Of Style, underground electronic label Darkroom Dubs and DJ/producer  SLAM, this is their first such a deal with a comic book creator. Quitely says: "I recently returned to writing and drawing my own comics, dabbling in short film, and accepting only those offers that really interest me – hence this collaboration with 1 of 100."

The shirts are £35 with free shipping – but Bleeding Cool has come across a code, FIRST10, that reduces the first purchase by 10%, dropping it own to a still-outrageous-but-slightly-less £31.50.

There are only a few of the 100 left, in pink or white. I will expect this Bleeding Cool post to wipe out the remaining number pretty sharpish. Bleeding Cool is not being paid for this, not getting any associate payments and they didn't even know I was writing this until now.

(UPDATE: And that's it. All gone. I understand some rather high profile comic book figures may have picked up one).

So… how many people at Thought Bubble will be sporting this item of clothing?
