Spider-Man's Wish Fulfillment in War of the Realms: Strikeforce: Land of the Giants #1 (Preview)

The War of the Realms is Marvel's biggest-ever super-mega-crossover event, and it's one that has already had a transformative effect on the Marvel Universe, with Earth's heroes failing to defend against the initial invasion of Malekith's armies, leaving the surviving forces to attempt to mount a resistance against impossible odds. But just because war is horrible doesn't mean there can't be some nice moments too, as we see in this preview of War of the Realms: Strikeforce: Land of the Giants #1, as Spider-Man meets Captain America on a frigid mountaintop… and wonders how he got there.

And the answer, of course, is via flying horse. Since all of the Valkyries were wiped out in War of the Realms #1 to show people how serious this super-mega-crossover event is, Captain America has commandeered one of their horses. And this gives Spidey an idea…

Really, Spider-Man? At a time like this? Have you forgotten about what comes with great power again? (Hint: it's great responsibility).

But Spider-Man isn't thinking about responsibility right now. He's thinking about a ride on a flying god damn horse.
