Superheroes With Agents – Champions Of Earth
What happens when two dimwitted teenagers gain super powers and accidentally frame legendary superheroes for their misdeeds? They become famous of course!
Indie newcomer, Fright Entertainment (www.frightentertainment.com), just launched their first kickstarter campaign on April 10th 2014, for their superhero/comedy mini series, Champions of Earth. The campaign will run until May 10th 11:08 am but if they receive 500.00 dollars in pledges over the weekend (April 12th-13) all the pledgers names will be published in a special thank you in the back of Champions of Earth issue 1! You can find the kickstarter campaign here.
Champions of Earth is a book about "superheroes" who are more like reality TV stars than heroes and their agent would never stand for them doing any world saving for free. It would all be perfect for the teen duo that make up the Champions of Earth, Jupiter man and the Scarab, if it wasn't for those pesky superheroes they accidentally imprisoned holding a grudge. If you want to know how it works out when the earth's mightiest heroes try to bring down the earth's most popular, pledge to the champions of earth kickstarter and find out!
For just a mere five dollars you can receive issues 1-4 of the mini series in a pdf format and for only twenty five dollars you can get physical copies of all 4 issues, with exclusives covers unique to the kickstarter, signed by the creators themselves! There are plenty of other gifts you can receive for your pledges but I won't spoil it for you here, you'll just have to check out the kickstarter page for yourself to find out.
If you're STILL not ready to dive in to the Champions of Earth kickstarter, you can read the first issue for FREE at www.frightentertainment.com, there's a link to the first issue of the mini series on the front page of the site (keep in mind though, it's a work in progress, that's why their raising money folks, to pay for fancy things like coloring and top notch lettering).
