Teenage Mutant Recruitment Strategies in X-Men/Fantastic Four #1 [Preview]
The Dawn of X has just finished its opening round of stories, which means the line is long-overdue for a crossover. And so Marvel is happy to oblige with X-Men/Fantastic Four by Chip Zdarsky and the Dodsons, with the first issue hitting stores next week. Let's have a look at the preview.
And just to show how important this crossover is, the preview requires three intro pages, one showing us which characters (all of which besides Kate Pryde) are currently alive will participate in the crossover…
…one for credits…
…and one reminding you this is the first issue, in case you forgot while reading the previous two intro pages.
And finally, the story, as we find the Marauders, either before or after Kate Pryde was sunk to the bottom of the ocean, arriving at Krakoa and greeted by X-Force's Quentin Quire.
Quentin's snark is interrupted by the Cuckoos, who invite everyone to a meeting with Xavier.
Apparently, now that Franklin Richards is all grown up, Xavier believes it's time he's allowed to join the rest of mutantkind on Krakoa.
And Kitty's history with Franklin will make her vital the recruitment efforts. Sending Kitty Pryde to entice a teenage boy to run away from his family? That checks out.
How will the Fantastic Four react to all of this. For that, we'll need to read the full issue when it hit stores on Wednesday (or you could wait and read our recap a few days later, we suppose).

KRAKOA. Every mutant on Earth lives there … except for one. But now it's time for FRANKLIN RICHARDS to come home.
It's the X-MEN VS. the FANTASTIC FOUR and nothing will ever be the same.
