Jason Bienvenu writes,

The first story arc, "Rise of the Ape King", is the origin tale of the young albino ape, Pale, whose journey of self-discovery soon leads to the realization that he possesses an amazing ability. Pale discovers that he wields the power of absorbing the life force, gifts, and experiences of any adversary that he defeats along his quest to vanquish his world from a tyrannical ruler threatening to destroy his way of life through a technological plague.

Pale soon realizes that this gift comes at a great cost and he finds himself burdened with the ghosts of these foes. In the end, his quest takes him through wondrous lands filled with eccentric allies and cunning villains that lead to a climactic battle with the treacherous ruler of the Kingdom: Baron Kah Lee!

Jason Bienvenu – (b. 1979) illustrator, designer, writer born and raised in south central

Louisiana (Lafayette). Received his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Graphic Design, from the University of Louisiana. When not working on comics enjoys collecting action figures, comics, and gaming.
